We wouldn't be able to do what we do (and love) without all our international partners.
They make it their purpose to supply us with high-quality fish and to give us the best service possible.
Below you can find an overview of the different partners and what they specifically supply to WBC Aquatic.
Indonesia
In Indonesia, WBC Aquatic has three valuable partners, namely WBC AQUARIUM INDONESIA ltd (where Wim Bamps is business manager together with Edy Warsito), Cahaya Baru cv and Blue Star Aquatics cv.
WBC AQUARIUM INDONESIA ltd is known for the good quality of tetras, catfish, wild-caught and more. These shipments are provided by our own export center.
Cahaya Baru cv and Blue Star Aquatics mainly supply marine fish, invertebrates and soft corals.
Singapore
In Singapore, we cooperate with SANYO Aquarium pte ltd and CORALFARM pte ltd.
SANYO Aquarium pte ltd supplies all kinds of tropical fish and CORALFARM pte ltd mainly supplies shrimp.
SANYO Aquarium is also a recognized member of the Ornamental Fish International (OFI) as well as of the Singapore Aquarium Fish Exporters' Association (SAFEA) and they have actively participated in the Accredited Ornamental Fish Exported Scheme which is certified by the Agri-food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA).
Sri Lanka
AQUALIFIED INTERNATIONAL ltd and OMINATA AQUARIUM INTERNATIONAL ltd are our partners in Sri Lanka.
These suppliers mainly supply WBC Aquatic with live bearers such as guppy and platy.
China
WBC Aquatic also has a permanent partner in China, namely SHANGHAI INTERNATIONAL AQUARIUM pte ltd.
SHANGHAI INTERNATIONAL AQUARIUM pte ltd is known for the good quality of various types of Chinese cold fish (such as lion heads), wild caught and shrimps.
Taiwan
WBC Aquatic mainly imports shrimps from Taiwan, in cooperation with JY LIN Trading co ltd.
This company was founded in 1988 and is now a leading exporter in ornamental fish (freshwater, marine,...) in Taiwan. Besides this, JLYN Trading co ltd is also a recognized member of OFI since 2002.
Africa (Kenya)
AFRICAN AQUATICS pte ltd is responsible for deliveries of certain marine fish.
AFRICAN AQUATICS pte ltd is a direct importer of cichlids and catfish from the Great Rift Valley of Africa.
Thailand
WBC Aquatic imports various types of tropical fish from Thailand, in partnership with AQUA SIAMENSIS AQUARIUM ltd.
This wholesaler from Thailand has over 30 years of experience in the aquarium business community and over 7 years in import/export business. They are specialized in wild-caught, captive bred aquarium fish and invertebrates.
AQUA SIAMENSIS AQUARIUM ltd is also a recognized member of OFI.
Israel
Throughout the year AQUAMADE provides us with cold water fish, and during the season it is one of our main suppliers of koi.
Vietnam
The last one of our international partners is SAIGON AQUARIUM, located in Vietnam.
Saigon Aquarium was founded in 1999 and has since become one of the largest breeders and exporters of tropical aquarium fish of Vietnam. This partner is also a recognized member of OFI since 2010.
Their offer consists of discus, bettas, wild caught, gourami, livebearers and soft corals.
